Sibize recruits youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds for entry level positions, the minimum education requirement being a Grade 12 certification.
Recruits are provided with training in soft skills, communications, computer skills and business etiquette, as well as direct training regarding the contact centre environment and the specific product lines that they will manage.
They also receive an induction into public service operations in general, to ensure they have a clear understanding of our customers’ service objectives, over and above product specifics. For example, an in-depth knowledge of the three tiers of government, together with their respective mandates, structures, programmes and unique service delivery needs.
